My first car was a 2001 Jeep Wrangler TJ, the five-speed with the 4.0 straight six engine. I loved the car and drove it everywhere, all the time. Being a 20 year old car that had lived in the Northeast its whole life, it frequently needed maintenance, and when the time came for fixes, if they were in my wheelhouse, I loved making the repairs and servicing what needed to be serviced. More involved repairs included replacing gaskets, with one memorable project involving installing a new intake and exhaust gasket kit to keep the reliable 4.0 engine running smoothly.
